Evergeen farms are owned by African Industries Group (AIG), a private international group founded in 1971 with investments in Africa, Middle East and Europe. AIG is owned by the Gupta family and run by a set of international managers. AIG operations in Africa range from trading commodities to manufacturing of steel, glass, chemicals and generation of power. In Romania AIG is engaged in farming operations and distribution of agricultural machinery as well as real estate development and investments.

Evergreen Biocrops is proud member of IFOAM Organics, an international organization working to bring true sustainability to agriculture across the globe. We are also member of European Federation of Essential Oils – EFEO and International Federation of Essential Oils and Aroma Trades – IFEAT, a leading global forum which brings together essential oil producers across the world.
Evergreen Biocrops is the leader of an Operational Group called TehnoEcoGO (“Innovative Technological Solutions for Goji Crops in Organic Farming”) that aims to carry out an EU-funded R&D&I project under Sub Measure 16.1a. We aim at studying and improving Goji varieties and adaptation to local conditions, by always looking at more sustainable practices.
